Teresa Chinn MBE, Registered nurse and social media specialist

Teresa Chinn MBE is a registered nurse and social media specialist. Teresa founded @WeNurses Twitter discussion group in 2012 as she found herself isolated from the nursing profession following years of agency nursing. Since then the WeNurses Twitter community has gone from strength to strength amassing over 65,000 followers from all over the world and the model has been duplicated for other groups of healthcare professional. Teresa has worked with organisations such as NHS England, the Department Of Health, Public Health England and the Nursing and Midwifery Council around using social media as a professional resource. Teresa has a passion for the use of social media in healthcare and believes that through connecting health care professionals can learn, develop and support one another. Teresa received an MBE for Services to Nursing in the 2015 New Years Honours.

Julie Dalphinis

Bio: Julie Dalphinis is a Nurse who works with safeguarding partners in Enfield Clinical Commissioning group. Julie believes that safeguarding is a fundamentally important part of the caring clinical work we all contribute to and as a result of this belief she has worked in the field for a long time, taking part in safeguarding reviews at patient, regional and national level as well as teaching and publishing articles.

Julie is a trained Children and an Adults Nurse and holds a master’s degree from Kings College London.
